3 Arrow on Outback Range

Namoi Valley Archers conducted 3 arrow club shoot on Sunday with competitors taking to the Outback range in hot and fine conditions. The day had a retro feel with Range Captain, Stuart Dolbel, opting to use the older style black and white ABA targets which added a different dimension to the round with no one breaking the 1100 point barrier on the day.

Greg Scott returned the highest score of the day to win the Sighted division with a polished performance with Narrabri’s John Finn just edging out John Clark in a tense battle for the minor placings.

Karen Hudson scored a very hard fought win in the Compound division after a titanic struggle with Wendi Murrell while Jarrod Stubbs edged out the chasing pack to grab third.

Haylee Murrell reasserted her dominance in the Cub Compound contest scoring a good win from sisters Kaytlyn and Emylie Murrell.

The next club shoot will be held on March 4th with registration at 8.30am for a 9.00am start on the range.
