3D Tester


Namoi Valley Archers held the first 3D event for the year on Sunday with a big field competing in perfect summer weather conditions. The competition was held over 2 rounds with the day starting with a 3 arrow round followed by the high pressure 1 arrow round. Course designers Greg Donovan, Lloyd Jauja and Stuart Dolbel presented a top class layout for the day with superb target placement testing archers of all abilities. The Sighted division was hotly contested with John Clark returning two solid rounds to claim the win from Stuart Dolbel who just held off a much improved Greg Scott in a tense battle for the minor placings. Wendi Murrell continued her recent run of good form scoring an impressive win in the Compound contest with Karen Hudson taking second place with Ann Stubbs in third. Darrell Hudson continued his dominance in the Traditional event with Phillip greenwood grabbing second with Michael Patrick in third. Sebastian Donovan showed his liking for the 3D format recording a good win in Junior Sighted with Zac Hayne taking second with newcomer Ben Martin in third. The next club shoot will be held on March 13th.
