3 Arrow Round

Forty eight archery took to the range for a 3 arrow all count club round last weekend, a good role up of juniors and cubs saw 29 kids on the range further testement to the enjoyment kids and adults alike get from this growing sport. The three arrow round is a twenty ABA target round with each arrow scoring, 20 - Kill, 15 - wound and 10 points for a hit, making the round worth up to 1200 points. Ben Ireland was in blistering form after he recent success at the Nationals, Ben had only scored three wounds up until target 13 all his other arrows had been perfectly placed in the kill zone, by the end of the round Ben had set a new club record and only placed 6 arrows in the wound out of 60. Cassie Neuendorf, Ben's soon to be wife, was also on fire, must be that Moonbi water, after some tinkering with her setup through the week Cassie smashed the old club record and the competition posting a new personal best in the process.

The next shoot will be on the 14th of May, and will be an IFAA shoot as the club in hosting the State IFAA titles the following weekend.
